Emma Bridgewater Potteries are the toast of Stoke on Trent and as Cornish folk ourselves we are please to say that they also contain a little bit of Cornwall, (*ahem* and a little bit of Devon and a little bit of Wales) from whence the China Clay used to make the pottery mix is mined. As avid collectors ourselves, we are always looking out for the new ranges and collectors pieces so we can bring them to you. Emma Bridgewater have built their reputation on fabulous quality pottery made in the UK epitomising traditional British style. The original Polka dot designs and now joined by new patterns every season - a complete delight and will be collectors pieces for years to come. In addition to their pottery items, Emma Bridgewater licence out their tinware, melamine, stationery and other items to companies who buy the licence. Whilst using the popular designs, the licensed products (with the exception of the textiles and enamels) unfortunately are not made in the UK. This makes the products more affordable but it also makes them more mass produced and thus we stock a smaller selection of these pieces.
